Product Information
The Pomelo is the largest citrus fruit from the family Rutaceae and the principal ancestor of the grapefruit. It is a natural, non-hybrid, citrus fruit, native to Southeast Asia
Currently, Pomelo is grown mainly in tropical regions of the world. Vietnam is the country with the largest area and output of Pomelo in Asia and is also the world’s leading Pomelo exporter.
Variants: Green skin/pink flesh & green skin/yellow pale flesh.
Health Benefits
Pomelo is particularly rich in vitamin C and potassium and contains several other vitamins and minerals, as well as protein and fiber.


Culinary Uses
Fresh Snacks: Peel away the thick rind and bitter membrane to eat the firm, sweet segments on their own or dipped in chili salt.
Salads: Add the crisp, mild pulp to Southeast Asian dishes like Vietnamese gỏi bưởiwith shrimp and herbs or Thai pomelo salad.
Drinks & Juices: Squeeze the flesh for fresh juice, use it as a swap for grapefruit in cocktails, or blend into smoothies.
Desserts: Mix into chilled sago sweet soups, ice cream, or fruit bowls.
